Laser Treatments
We have a wide variety of lasers at our disposal, so we can tailor your treatment to meet your needs. One, or even two lasers, cannot address the various conditions to be corrected. The reason for this is that a laser emits one wavelength of organized light, and the targets vary from brown spots to blood vessels to wrinkles and tattoo inks. The wavelength of light needed to remove a bright green dragon tattoo is different than that to treat age spots or freckles.

The wavelength of light needed to remove a bright green dragon tattoo is different than that to treat age spots or freckles.
Lasers can rejuvenate the skin like no other treatment. From acne scarring, discoloration, and stubborn wrinkles, lasers can smooth the skin, eliminate pigment, and overall freshen one’s appearance. The depth of the treatment, surface area treated, and energy delivered are all variables that can be adjusted to fit the patient and their individual needs.
Laser treatments generally require some downtime. With advances in technology, downtime has been significantly reduced. Many procedures involving the face can be performed on Friday with a return to work on Monday. More aggressive treatments, such as those for acne scarring or deep wrinkles may require a longer period of healing/recovery. Once again, the aggressiveness of a particular treatment can be tailored to the needs of the patient. We work closely with all our patients to assure that we reach our cosmetic goals with the degree of downtime that meets their schedules.
