The Skin Renewal CenterA transplant from Pennsylvania where he obtained his Undergraduate & Medical Degrees, Dr. Patrick McNamara has considered Houston his home since beginning his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in 1983.
Dr. McNamara is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician, who has been treating Houstonians since his residency. In 2002, Dr. McNamara founded The Skin Renewal Center to meet the increasing desire of patients to look fresher as well as those patients whose appearance had been affected by illness. Dr. McNamara was the first physician in Houston to use Sculptra, a long-lasting filler, to benefit his patients.
The past 15 years have brought a lot of changes to all of our lives. The Skin Renewal Center has evolved as well. We have become a comprehensive skin and body care center with an emphasis on maintaining skin health, body contouring, and reversing the effects of aging and sun damage. Dr. McNamara has selected those technologies which are safe, effective and meet the needs of our patients. Nothing is more fulfilling than providing services that enhance our patient's appearance and improve their self-esteem.
Dr. McNamara feels that sharing knowledge is important and has taught medical students as a clinical instructor at Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and the American College of Physicians . He has also contributed to the medical community as a Principal Investigator in multiple medical studies.
Dr. McNamara has supported the Houston community as medical director of the Montrose Clinic (which has morphed into Legacy Community Health Services) as well as having established First Aid Services for Bunnies on the Bayou, a 501.3C organization that raises money for local charities.
Dr. McNamara enjoys empowering his patients to explore available options and ultimately achieve their desired outcomes. With the support of the remarkable staff at The Skin Renewal Center, Dr. McNamara ensures that each patient has a wonderful experience with exceptional results.

Jose Vazquez
Jose fills many roles at The Skin Renewal Center. In addition to being the manager of the business office and manager of client services, Jose has the technological skills to keep The Skin Renewal Center cool and the computers up and running. He is also knowledgeable regarding manufacturer's patient discounts and their Patient Assistance Programs (PAP). With Jose's assistance, eligible patients can be enrolled in programs to facilitate treatments that they might otherwise be unable to afford. Jose's advocacy to save patients' money is another example of service that differentiates The Skin Renewal Center from others.
